Remembering many years of singing together

During the years of the pandemic, when the choir was unable to meet we tragically lost several of our most loyal choir members, in particular our Choirmaster, John, who had been a great strength to the choir both in teaching and leading and also with his sense of humour.   We have also had quite a number of our members who have felt, as we were able to return to practice, that the time was right to retire for various personal reasons.  As a result of this the choir had to cease to meet.  This is a loss to the church as the choir was always keen to lead the singing during worship and to raise funds through their concerts.  We are a church with a good music tradition and that still continues.

A thank you must be made to everyone who has been part of the choir over many many years.
